My silly little Curse of Strahd shitposts have gotten me some new friends so I thought I’d introduce myself!
Hi, I am Lynks. My pronouns are pretty fluid, but right now, I’m vibing with They/He. I’m 33 years old, I live in East Tennessee and have a cute partner and puppy.
My current things I’m completely normal for are: Curse of Strahd (especially Rudolph van Richten, Rahadin, Ezmerelda and the man himself Strahd), D&D in general (especially my own characters) Critical Role, Resident Evil and Castlevania (netflix).
I love playing video games. My faves are: Overwatch 2, Divinity Original Sin 2, Borderlands series, Fallout (3,4, and New Vegas), Resident Evil series, and Baldurs Gate 3.
my fav thing about having ocs is having a basic line of lore for them but as soon as someone asks me about them I completely bullshit everything I tell them. Yeah this wasn’t true like 5 minutes ago but now it is
i’m finding out that i’m only invested in ships when the dynamic is made funnier when it’s romantic and oh my god that one clip of ashton staring at a human-sized orym who is suddenly taller than them and imogen immediately bullying them about it has me on the ashrym brink
They’re back in the first place they met. The cliff beside Istol’s cottage. Iain knows this is where he wants to kiss them, but he’s so nervous. They spend the evening stargazing, and Istol shows them different constellations. Iain is pretty sure they all look the same, but watching his crush be so enthusiastic about them was too adorable.
Istol starts spiraling out about nerdy shit and the probability of dying and never being found due to living up in the mountains.
In that moment, Iain finally musters up the courage to kiss them. Maybe to shut them up, but mostly because he remembered why he was so smitten by this silly, nerdy, anxious, intelligent, beautiful boi.
Istol was pleasantly surprised and admitted they felt the same way.
They spent the rest of the evening talking, enjoying the night air, and then falling asleep next to each other once they went back inside.
My interpretation of Sir Godfrey Gwilym, from Curse of Strahd, as he currently appears in our game (in spiffy fixed-up chainmail).
He is our destined ally, Super Cool Guy, and tied with one other person (guess who… 😏) for the title of Best NPC. And his wrinkly zombie face is just so much fun to draw.
Soon I will be drawing fanart of him and Vladimir when they were alive (if my heart can take it). 🥺❤️
